Patricia Whelan is the Chief Information Officer of Shields Health Care Group and Senior Partner of Shields Consulting. She is the former Chief Technology Officer of Radiology Consulting Group and Director of Radiology Informatics at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Ms. Whelan is widely published in the areas of PACS implementation, data storage, and the management of the film to digital transition. She has become a leading opinion in the PACS industry today and has given numerous lectures at some of the nation's most notable conferences, including Radiology Society of North America, Health Information Management Systems Society, Society for Computer Applications in Radiology, Harvard Medical School's Radiology into the 21st Century and many others. Ms. Whelan holds 2 bachelors degrees from the University of Virginia and a master's degree from Ohio State University.

Sean O'Donnell is the Senior Network Manager of Shields Health Care Group. Mr. O'Donnell has over fifteen years of experience in the medical imaging field having deployed PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems. He is an expert in Microsoft and virtualization architectures and applying these technologies in the medical imaging field. Mr. O'Donnell is an active member of MS-HUG, the New England VMWare Users Group, and HIMSS. He hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Stonehill College.

Charles Spurr has over 20 years in the Information Services and Technology field. He has an extensive background in building and managing computing environments. He has delivered large-scale projects involving mission-critical applications, systems and networks world wide. He has a proven record of leading IT organizations and initiatives. He has been focused on Health Care Information Services vertical for the past 5 years.

Jack Walker is the Senior WAN Engineer of Shields Health Care Group. Mr. Walker has over 30 years experience in the Telecommunication field both Nationally and Internationally specializing in WAN/Telephony integration and security. Mr. Walker has been with Shields Health Care Group for 8 years and has implemented various WAN technologies including ATM, Switched Ethernet services (EVPL/EPL) utilizing packetized voice and QOS technologies. Mr. Walker has also provided site connectivity via VPN networking utilizing IPSEC and Application acceleration and compression.

Stephen McDonough has extensive experience in the high technology field. He began his sales and marketing career at IBM. With the onset of web technologies he extended his exposure into the Internet arena by joining BBN in Cambridge, MA(developers of the ARPAnet-forefather of today's Internet) helping to develop and build out their custom web hosting practice. He has vast software startup experience in opening new markets for organizations such as Moai Technologies, Wily Technologies and most recently at Panoratio a provider of business intelligence/analytics software for the healthcare industry. Mr. McDonough is an Honors graduate from Harvard College.
